These are unsolicited comments, posted in various online venues by customers and students: Once again, you've helped me to take my photography to another level! Thanks again for the great teaching session, Len! A day in your studio is like a semester at school, but with way better looking models. :) "PLEASE NOTE: A majority of my work was produced at LensVisions Studios in Fremont, CA, owned by this guy: Len Cook. Len is both friend and mentor to me and I am forever grateful for his guidance and for his knowledge, both of which are shared unselfishly.
Len, Thank you once again for the wonderful experience... I appreciate all the warm comfort that you gave... You are an amazing photographer and not to mention very easy and fun to work with Your studio is amazing. With all kinds of stuff for different combinations plus versatile models, the shooting becomes fun and creative. Excellent!! Hey you, hope you are hanging in there. hehe. The hands on demonstrations and the power point presentations are very helpful! He goes out of his way for you to understand what he is trying to get across. He even gives up his own time to teach us advanced techniques by having a field trip to his photo studio. Good Job and thank you for sharing your passion! Great teacher. THE BEST!!! he's a funny, silly teacher and he teaches some things that other photo teachers don't. Len knows his subject. He's a great guy, loves to share his knowledge with his students. He will explain everything to you, as much as needed to make sure you get it. Plenty of humor. Wants you to learn, not just pass the class. Very in depth with lectures and demonstrations. Len was awesome! I learned so much more than expected and now I love taking photos and taking them right from all aspects of photography! If you want to learn something new, fascinating and have a WONDERFUL teacher at the same time, deffinetely take Len, you wouldn't regret it! Len is a wonderful instructor. He is passionate about his work which bleeds into how he teaches and interacts with his students. What I really enjoyed was the open discussion about my prints. Even if something was not his 'style', he would still be able to discuss the pros and cons of the image with me and give recommendations to improve it. Mr Cook is cool. his teaching methods, and respect he gives the students is awesome. he's very concerned about how well one comprehends what he teaches, even on late assignments.at the beginning he didn't explain things well, but he went back over everything when he needed to. :D I'm very impressed with Mr. Cook and his class, he is very dynamic and helpful to the students. A+++ Took Photo50 and learned a lot. Wasn't expecting to learn so much. Lectures and string exercises were really helpful in understanding the concepts. Labs were fun as well. I HAD LEN, WE CALL HIM AND NOT MR COOK THAT'S HOW COOL THIS GUY IS. FOR PHOTO 53B DIGITAL DARK ROOM AND ALSO FOR LAST SEMESTER AFTER DIGITAL. I HAD A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE IN HIS CLASS AND LEARNED A LOT MORE THAN I EXPECTED. IN FACT, I TOOK THAT CLASS FOR CREDIT BUT I ENDED UP FALLING IN LOVE WITH PHOTOGRAPHY WHERE I HAD TO ACTUALLY BUY NEW CAMERAS lens's class is super fun to attend. Great Professor! Goes out of way to explain and help me understand which arouses my interest in learning more that what I have questioned regarding Photography. Very knowledgeable and a outstanding asset to Chabot College. I took this class just for fun. Len taught me from not knowing how to use an SLR and to develop B&W pictures from start to finish. Both my husband and I enjoyed the class very much and it triggered my husband trying to go pro for wedding photography. I highly recommend Len if you are interested in photography in general. He is inspirational! Had a great time at your studio today...downloading pics now. Hey Len, It was awesome meeting you and I cannot wait to work with you again! your a super cool guy!!!
